Volleyball Match Scoring – How to Enter and Publish Volleyball Scores on Playinga
Volleyball Match
A typical field volleyball match is played between two teams of 6 players on each side. The match consists of 5 sets. The first four sets are played for 25 points and the last set is played for 15 points. A team wins a set if they score 25 (or 15 points in the last set) points with a difference of 2 points. The side to win the maximum number of sets wins the match.
In PLAYINGA, we have kept very minimal restrictions. For a team sport, such as volleyball, there is a minimum requirement of 2 players per team and no set or point restrictions.

Steps to Enter Volleyball Match Scores
Step 1: Go to the match page on your profile.
Step 2: Click on specific volleyball match to enter score.
Step 3: You will be taken to the match page. Click on the Scorecard sub tab.
Step 4:Click the 'Enter Score' button and choose a scoring format.
Step 5: Select How You Want to Enter Scores
Live Scoring Format
If you choose the live scoring format, select the team that will kick off. Then, set the number of games to be played and enter the points required to win a game.
Click the Save & Proceed button to continue.
After clicking save & Proceed button, You can record points using the provided buttons
After clicking the Save & Proceed button, you can record points using the available buttons. Once a team reaches the highest score, you will be prompted to publish the results.
Basic Scoring Format
If you choose the basic scoring format, select the number of games played in the match under the Format section — 1, 3 or 5.
Enter the set results by recording the points won by each side for each game. Once the points are enter click the Save score button.
Once saved, you will see the 'Edit Score' option and the 'Publish' button at the bottom.
To edit the score, click 'Edit Score', make your changes, and click 'Save Score'. To publish the results, click 'Publish'.
Step 6: After clicking Publish button, A confirmation pop-up will appear — click 'Confirm' to publish the results.
Once the scores have been published, they become visible in your feeds section, your opponent’s feed and in the feeds of both your friends.
