A typical soccer match consists of two 45-minutes halves. Each team has 11 players including a goalkeeper. The objective of the match is to score more goals than the opposition side. The team with the maximum number of goals is declared the winner of the match.
In PLAYINGA, we have kept very minimal restrictions. For a team sport, such as football, there is a minimum requirement of 2 players per team.
Step 1: On the “Scorecard” page of the match, click on Enter Score.
Step 2: On clicking Enter Score, a pop-up appears that let’s select the players, who participated in the match. Click on Add button next to each player to add the player. Once each player has been added, you can choose the role the player played in the match from the role options in the drop-down box.
Step 3: Once the roles have been finalized, click on Next to proceed to the Substitutions Section.
Step 4: The Substitutions section is to be filled when one of the chosen players is substituted with another player during the course of the match. Step 5: The next step involves recording the same details for the Opponent team. Select the players who participated in the match from the opponent team. Click on Add button. Once each player has been added, you can choose the role the player played in the match from the drop-down options.

Note: Once you make changes in the lineup, it will overwrite the original player selection.

If you made an incorrect entry for an event, you can delete it by clicking on the Trash Icon. Once you have entered all the event related information, click on the Save button.
Repeat the same process for the opponent team too.
Step 13: After the score is saved, it must be approved by the opponent side to be published. This ensures that both the sides are in agreement before the scorecard is officially published on PLAYINGA. Click on Send for Opponent’s Approval to send the scorecard to the opponent side for approval. For a team sport like Soccer, the Admin/Captain of the opponent team is notified.
Step 14: The captain/admin of the opponent team shall receive a notification when a scorecard is sent for review.
Step 15: If you are the captain/admin of the opponent team, click on Review Scorecard to visit the scorecard page. As an opponent, you can choose to Accept or Reject the scorecard. To accept the scores, click on Accept & Publish.
If you click the Accept & Publish button, the scores get published and the message “Match scorecard published successfully” appears at the top of the screen

Step 16: As an opponent, if you want to reject the scorecard then click on Reject button. You will see a pop-up requesting you to enter the reason. Enter the reason for rejecting the scores and click on Confirm.
