Search & Apply for Tournaments as a Team

Tournaments are public pages which can be accessed by everyone. You can directly access the tournament URL, when you are logged in PLAYINGA. The public URLs could be shared with participants over emails, on social media platforms such as Facebook or Twitter or could have been sent to you directly by the organiser. Either way, any player can access the tournament URL.

This guide shall help you from searching for a tournament in PLAYINGA and applying for the same. If you are accessing the tournament page directly, you can skip the search part.

Searching for a Tournament in PLAYINGA:

Tournaments in PLAYINGA are searchable and you as a player or your team can choose to participate in tournaments that accept applications. You can use the Search box at the top of your profile page to search for a tournament of your preference.

Step 1: Type the keywords for the tournament in the Search box and press the return key. A list of search results would appear with the name of the tournament with a thumbnail representation, and the tournament admin name.


Step 2: From the search result, click on the name of the preferred tournament. You will be directed to the specific tournament page which has all the relevant tournament details.


To apply for team sports - Contingent tournament.

Step 3: Click the "Register Now" button. A pop-up shall open with tournament description and click "Start Registration"

Step 4: A list of your teams will appear. Select a team to register for the tournament. Or, to register a new team, click the Create New Team button and add participants.
Step 5: Fill team name, team short name and jersey colour and upload team logo in the pop up and click on Proceed button.


Step 6: List of streams the tournament has will be displayed. For all team-related sports, the stream defaults to General. Select a division and then Click on Register.

Step 7: To select existing players, press the ‘Add’ button next to the players you want from the list.
Note: If you want to add a new player, click on add new player on the dropdown . Then give the player image, name and Email id for new player.

Step 8: After adding players Click on proceed and it will show another pop up with list of divisions selected. Once divisions are registered, click ‘Proceed.


Step 9: Accept the waivers & terms. If paid tournament it will ask you to pay and click on Submit Applications.


Step 10: It is paid tournament, you will be prompted to make a payment, either online or offline, as specified by the tournament. You can also include add-ons here. Then, click ‘Submit & Pay.’


Application will now be sent to tournament Admin.

To Apply for Team sports divisions - Non Contingent tournament. 

Step 1: Click the ‘Register’ button to begin registration.

Step 2: A list of your teams will appear. Select a team to register for the tournament. Or, to register a new team, click the Create New Team button and add participants.


Step 3: Fill team name, team short name and jersey colour and upload team logo in the pop up and click on Proceed button.


Step 4: It will show a list of divisions. click on Apply button for which division you want to apply. 

Step 5: To select existing players, press the ‘Add’ button next to the players you want from the list.  After adding players Click on proceed and it will show another pop up with list of divisions selected. Once divisions are registered, click ‘Proceed.

Note: If you want to add a new player, click on add new player on the dropdown . Then give the player image, name and Email id for new player.


Step 6: Accept the waivers and terms. If it is a paid tournament you want to pay the money, then click the Submit Registration button.


After submission, your registration is complete, and the application will be sent to the tournament admin.
