Retire a Player in Playinga – Step-by-Step Team Management Guide

Retiring a Player

​Sometimes you may want to abstain a specific player in your team from participation in future matches or tournament. In that case, you may choose to retire a player from your team in Playinga.

Steps to retire a player

Step 1: Go to your Team page, click the Settings tab.
Step 2: Select Roles on the Settings page.

Step 3: Click the Edit icon under Actions that directs to Retired role.


Step 4: Click on "Next Assign Player" button.

Note: You cannot enable or disable actions in this pop-up.

Step 5: Click on Assign button that corresponds to player name on whom you want to retire.


Step 6: Click on Publish role button and player will now be retired.

Note: If you want to retire admin, then you must go to admin role and un assign the player as admin.​

Once you Retire a player from your team:

​
The player will not be available for selection in the forthcoming team games.
​
The player’s scores and game information in all past games in a team game will continue to exist and will NOT be removed.
​
The player’s profile will no longer be available for selection in a tournament even if the player had enrolled in the tournament from your team.
