Create and Manage Feeds on Playinga – Updates, Media & Polls

Feeds

Feeds are a stream of updates and posts that appear right on your profile page.They help you stay connected and informed about what’s happening with your friends, teams, matches, and tournaments within Playinga.

Feed posts on PLAYINGA are of two types:

User Created: These are posts or updates shared by players themselves. For example, posting an image or update from a Match page.

System Created: These are automatic posts generated by PLAYINGA when important events occur. For example, when a match score is published, PLAYINGA creates a post about the result and shares it with all players involved.

All feeds you create will appear on your timeline and can be shared with your friends. As a player or organizer, you can create feeds using text, images, or media clips to keep others informed. You can also post polls and track the responses.

The following are the steps to create a Feed:

Step 1: Click New Post Button

Click the "New Post" button to start creating a new feed.

Step 2: To post a Feed

Type heading on the headline and start typing the message you want to post and click the post button to publish.

 Note: Both are mandatory to post a feed.

Step 3: To post a Feed with Images

Click this icon if you want to add an image to your post.



Add images
Select an image file from your device to include in your post. You can upload up to 4 images (max 2MB each) by clicking Add Image to make your post more engaging and click the post button to publish.

Step 4: To Post a Feed with Video

Click this icon if you want to add a video to your post.


Enter YouTube URL
Enter a YouTube URL to add a video to your post and click the post button to publish.

Step 5: To post a Poll

Click this icon to add a poll to your post.


Fill the Details
Choose the valid date which means until when your poll should be active. Enter the options you want to include in your poll and then click the post to publish a poll.

Step 6: Set privacy to your post

Click here to set a privacy to your post.

Set Privacy

While creating a post, you can choose who can see it under the Privacy settings.

Select from options like Post to all, Only players, Only administrators, or Only me. You can also control comments by deciding whether users are allowed to post or view comments and after select options, click the post button.

After posting, your feed will be displayed on your home wall.

Step 7: Editing a Feed and Poll

If you want to make edits, you can add or remove images or videos. You can also update the date and modify the poll options and then click save button.

Locate the post in your Team timeline that you want to edit. In the top right corner of the post, click the settings icon and then select edit.

Step 8: Deleting a Feed and Poll

If you want to delete the post, click this icon to remove it.

Now, your feed will be posted on the home page and visible to all.
